The DU C Unit exam will be conducted using multiple-choice (MCQ) and written formats. The exam’s multiple-choice (MCQ) part will last for 45 minutes, and the written part will also last for 45 minutes. The answer format will be described in the instructions section of the question paper.

The merit score will be determined based on the marks obtained in both the multiple-choice (MCQ) and written exams and the GPA obtained in secondary and higher secondary exams.

A merit list will be created based on a total of 120 marks. The combined score from the multiple-choice (MCQ) questions and the written exam will be assigned 100 marks, and the remaining 20 marks will be calculated by multiplying the GPA obtained in secondary exams (including the 4th subject) and the GPA obtained in higher secondary exams (including the 4th subject) by 2. These two values will be added to the 100 marks obtained in the admission test to create the total merit list based on 120 marks.

For every incorrect answer in the multiple-choice (MCQ) questions, the score of one correct answer will be deducted. That is, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The exam aims to assess the knowledge acquired at the higher secondary level. The question paper will be based on the syllabus for higher secondary education. The candidate’s name should not be written on the answer sheet.
